..to all who came along on the event weekend, to those who purchased memorabilia etc. and to those who couldn’t make it but supported us online and spread the word.
A special thank you to the people of Chirnside for their support and putting up with the disruption and traffic!
The event was successful beyond our wildest dreams. Feedback on the day and afterwards was incredible. As an organisation we are proud and pleased to have got it right, giving pleasure to so many and telling the story of Jim Clark, the ‘local boy made good’,
‘Of all the commemorative tributes to Jim over the past 50 years, this is the one that I will always remember as the most heartfelt’
‘Just to say thank you for organising an excellent event. The exhibition was fascinating and the large turnout was a tribute to the hard work of all the team’
‘a very successful weekend. Our trip from Australia was certainly justified’
‘The people of Chirnside are very proud’
What to watch out for!
